To be involved and interested in the world of âArtâ as a whole, is a great way to switch off from the daily routine whilst spending a few relaxing hours concentrating on your own artistic creation. There are many paths to choose from and to copy a fresco is just one of them. You may never have considered embarking onto such a venture. Why not give it a chance! It is a unique experience in its own right to produce a fresco. During the course, which lasts 5 days, we will concentrate on copying one of the panels Michelangelo painted in the famous Sistine Chapel. Before the course starts, we will send you a list of works from which you can to choose which particular fresco you would like to copy.
Yes, it is! When you approach the subject in the correct manner, with the right guidance, then it is not only achievable but lots of fun too! Please see comments and pictures attached. Beginners and art novices welcome!
The course will take place either in charming Fontaine de Vaucluse with accommodation in a quaint hotel whereby classes take place next door in a set up studio, or in a privately-owned country inn (4 star) located on the top of a hill which overlooks the Tuscan country site. Accommodation is offered in either single or twin-bedded rooms with private Facilities. In Provence during the 5-day working week, daily breakfast as well as 1 lunch and 2 dinners will be included.In Tuscany, due to the location of your hotel breakfast, lunch and all dinners will be included. The course will take place from Monday to Friday from 09h00 till noon and from 2pm to 5pm. Time is set aside for you to relax, make new friends as well as explore the immediate surroundings of your hotel.
