What is Fresco in Team?
“Fresco In-Team”: it is an experience in which you will learn to paint the fresco of your choice thanks to Monique, painter and teacher. During a course over several days, you will be accompanied by other art enthusiasts and create your own fresco. An extraordinary and fulfilling experience, where you will discover the art of fresco and the magnificent region of your choice, Provence or Tuscany. In peace and good humor, relaxation and learning will be on the program for this wonderful week.
The story behind this experience
This exciting artistic program is the result of a collaboration between two professionals, both specialists in their field.
Manuela is the President of TGW Inc. headquartered in Atlanta, USA. Her business specializes in tailor-made travel programs of particular interest and has grown steadily, primarily due to her loyal clientele who have traveled the world with her and her company for many years.
Monique is a confirmed artist and trainer who lives in the charming historic town of Cavaillon in Provence, where she has been active as an artist and art trainer for many years. She is a born artist who is able to get the best out of her students. She is also good at producing paintings in oils, acrylics, watercolors as well as in the art of painting frescoes. Her students praise her for her personal advice and help her develop the art of their choice.
Manuela and Monique’s lifelong experiences are a unique combination of two confirmed professionals. They are delighted to offer a “Fresco In Team” course to those who wish to experience hands-on lessons in painting an exceptional fresco while spending a week in Provence or Tuscany.
Two wonderful destinations
Provence :
South of France: Known for its color, lavender fields, sun flowers and fine wine, Provence has attracted so many artists because of its spectacular light. This particular light was part of the reason why a group of 19th century artists, the Impressionists, made this region their brush playground!
Tuscany:
A region in central Italy full of charming medieval villages built on top of one of the many Tuscan hills. The landscape, the sunflowers and the many historic buildings make this part of Italy so special.
Many Renaissance artists were born or worked here and inspired powerful rulers such as the Medici, Savoy and Sforza families.
Both in Provence and in Tuscany, the accommodation and our painting workshops are set up in a serene and isolated setting. Participants will enjoy new experiences by learning to paint a fresco.
